Hi, I am Lenja.

I am a photographer based in Bretagne, France specalizing in travel and landscape photography with an interest in many other areas.

I grew up in Germany and from a very young age on have been very intrigued by photography. Taking photos has basically been part of my life for as long as I can remember.
Especially after I got my first DSLR at 15 I pretty much almost always have my camera at hand when I am out and about.

At 18, after graduating, some people around me started easing into the world of universities and working life, I took my camera and took out into the world.

Photography and travel easily go hand in hand and both have always been my biggest passions.

And so I spent the last three years traveling and capturing places, stories and memories.

If I go somewhere, I am not just interested in taking images of the beautiful landscapes but also of documenting the places and the story behind them. The people behind these places.

And so I often stayed somewhere for months at a time, photographing change.

Speaking of change - 2020 definitely was a year of change (for all of us) and after 3 years of almost constant travel, I moved to the “end of the world” (Finistère) - Brest to further develop my dream of becoming a professional photographer.

I have started studying geography but one of my big photography projects for the next years is to document Brittany, this region in France famous for its rough cliffs, bad weather and its special people.
In addition to that I want to keep traveling and getting to capture other places and stories through my lens.

Recently I have started to spread into architecture photography and would like to find my footing in other niches such as photographing people, lifestyle, weddings and generally transmitting stories through my images.

I am based in Brest, France but would also be very interested on working on location in different places elsewhere.

Feel free to contact me for any questions, project ideas, interest in working with me or any other inquires.
