Lenja Dunker

Originally from Germany, I now capture landscapes, moments of life, and emotions from the Breton coast. More precisely from Brest, this “end-of-the-world” city with its discreet yet captivating charm. Fascinated by the ocean, I love to capture wild landscapes, surfing, storms, and everything shaped by the sea. But above all, I am constantly in search of unique light, with a special fondness for sunrises and sunsets.

My passion for photography dates back to childhood—after borrowing my father’s camera a little too often, I received my first one at the age of eight. But it was especially during my travels after high school that I discovered a deep desire to tell the world through my eyes. Photography and exploration go hand in hand, and these two passions have always been a part of me.

Today, alongside my studies in coastal management, I am pursuing various photographic projects: documenting Brittany, the places I travel to, but also exploring other fields such as portraiture, lifestyle, surfing, and even wedding photography. At its core, what drives me is telling stories through my images.

I hope my photos make you travel, dream, and see the world in a new light.
